Job description
Communication with Korean partners
-
Act as the communication bridge between PCS and Korean partners, including import/export clients, shipping lines, logistics agents and service providers.

Receive and respond to partner inquiries via email, phone, or face-to-face meetings using the professional Korean language.

Maintain strong professional relationships and support the development of connections with potential Korean partners.
Specialized translation & interpretation

Translate logistics related documents such as rate sheets, contracts, service brochures, and business emails.

Provide interpretation during internal meetings or client meetings to ensure accurate and clear communication.

Support other departments in communicating with Korean speaking partners when needed.
Internal coordination & follow-up

Relay partner requests to relevant departments (Sales, Operations, Documentation,..) to ensure timely and accurate execution.

Monitor internal progress and provide partners with regular updates, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.

Collect internal feedback and respond to partners in Korean with clear and professional communication.
Korean Market development support

Research and stay updated on the Korean logistics market, including competitor analysis, shipping trends and pricing benchmarks.

Work with the Sales team to suggest initiatives for developing the Korea–Vietnam logistics market.
Reporting & other tasks

Prepare regular reports on order status, service quality, and partner feedback.

Support other related tasks as assigned by the Manager, especially those involving Korean clients or partners.
Job Requirements

College or university degree in Korean Language, International Trade, Logistics or a related field.

Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international transportation is preferred.

Korean: Proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing (TOPIK Level 4 or higher). Capable of interpreting meetings and handling business negotiations.

English: Able to read and understand industry-related emails and documents (a plus).
Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively and handle issues promptly.

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Knowledge of international transport processes and shipping modes (Sea/Air Freight) is a plus.

Proactive attitude, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
