On April 19, 2025, the scientific seminar titled "Green Transportation Development" took place at the University of Transport, organized by the Automation Today magazine under the patronage of specialized agencies. The event brought together leading experts, policymakers, scientists and key companies in the transportation and logistics sectors.

Amid Vietnam's active efforts to implement international commitments on emission reduction and sustainable development, particularly the goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 as stated in the COP26 Declaration, green transportation has become a crucial component of the country's national green growth strategy. This seminar was held to provide a platform for dialogue, share models, initiatives and practical solutions to accelerate transportation infrastructure's transformation towards smarter, more digital and environmentally friendly systems.

At the event, the discussions focused on three main topics:

- The current status and challenges in the development of green transportation in Vietnam.

- Technological innovations, the adoption of clean energy, and the implementation of smart transportation systems.

- The role of businesses is to create a logistics ecosystem that fosters transportation growth in harmony with the environment and society.
