PCS packing and documentation guidelines for optimizing shipping and ensuring the safety of goods
Packaging guidelines
Proper packaging is a critical factor in ensuring the safety of products throughout the international shipping process. PCS provides detailed instructions on how to pack various types of goods:
- For documents, letters, contracts, and other paperwork, place them in an A4 envelope or flyer bag to protect them from dust and damage.
- For non-fragile items, use cushioning material, place the items in plastic bags, and seal the box with H-tape.
- For fragile items, wrap them in bubble wrap, place them in a cardboard box, add foam padding, and apply a "Fragile" label on the box opening.
- For palletized goods, arrange them neatly on the pallet, secure them with straps, wrap them in shrink film, and apply labels for easy tracking.
- For liquids and cosmetics, PCS will seal the product caps with tape, wrap them securely in bubble wrap, and line the box with PE foam for additional protection. A "Fragile" label will also be applied, and the box will be reinforced.
- For fashion items, wrap the products in bubble wrap, place them in a cardboard box, and seal the box securely with tape.
