On July 30, 2025, PCS Logistics was officially awarded the Halal Certification by the Vietnam Halal Certification Authority (HALCERT), following a rigorous training, inspection, and evaluation. This milestone marks the beginning of PCS’s journey to develop Halal logistics services in Vietnam, aligning with the global movement toward ethical consumption and respect for cultural and religious values.
The certification ceremony and memorandum of understanding signing (MOU) between HALCERT and PCS Logistics gathered representatives from government agencies, certifying bodies, business associations, and media organizations.
A Journey rooted in connection and dedicated learning
PCS Logistics' Halal journey began in April 2025 at a Halal-focused seminar co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Here, PCS representatives first connected with Mr. Ramlan Bin Osman, Director of HALCERT.
A series of in-depth discussions followed, culminating intensive training program at the PCS Ho Chi Minh City office. Guided directly by Mr. Ramlan, PCS personnel were trained on core Halal principles, Halal - Haram - Shubha - Toyyiban, as well as technical compliance under TCVN 12944:2020 (Vietnam’s national Halal food standards) and MS 2400-1 & 2:2019 (Halal Supply Chain Management: Transportation and Warehousing). HALCERT recognized this professional, open-minded engagement as a positive step toward Halal standardization within Vietnam’s logistics sector.
PCS Logistics awarded Halal certification by HALCERT, the first step towards standardizing Halal logistics services in Vietnam.

Aligning with Vietnam’s Halal strategy
Developing Halal logistics is among the directions encouraged by the Vietnamese government to improve export capacity to Muslim-majority markets and support the growth of Halal tourism. PCS’s certification reflects technical compliance and a strategic commitment to sustainable, inclusive logistics.

Building Halal logistics services in Vietnam
For PCS Logistics, Halal certification serves as both a legal recognition and a meaningful push toward developing a logistics system rooted in cultural respect and deep understanding of Muslim values.
We are currently delivering two core Halal service lines for the domestic market:
-
Halal Domestic Transportation: Business-to-business delivery between industrial zones, particularly suited for enterprises producing food, cosmetics, and consumer goods that require Halal compliance.
-
Halal Warehousing in Binh Duong: Our facilities have passed Halal inspections and are operated in line with established standards, including approved cleaning methods, controlled storage conditions, pest management, and environmental quality assurance.
